I just bought a 900 round case of Yugo 8mm, and can't find exactly what the specifics are.

It came in a wood crate, with the metal seal that you have to pull the wooden handle atatched to the wire, to open.

The headstamp is NK 1971, the primers appear to have a green sealant on them, and the tips of the bullet are painted green.

Any info, as far as quality, weight, going price per case, etc would really help.

i think its 198 gr. lead core and its very quality stuff, much better than the 50's yugo stuff. i would say a good price for a 900 round case would be $70, what'd you get it for?

I gave $110 tax included, I figured it was a little high.

Shot 40 rounds of it today, and had no problems.

Only odd thing, is that some or the rounds would glow bright red or orange for several seconds after hitting the disk blades we were shooting at.

I left my camera at work, but I will get some pics of the box stamping sometime this week.

Was there any steel core 8mm surplus?
