I'm going to put together my own bound record book, insted of buying one. Could anyone tell me what I need to record, along the lines of where it was purchased, Date, Ser# Etc. Etc. Thanks |

It’s very simple, read the green BATF booklet sent to you with your C&R (a good idea regardless). The booklet has a example of a proper records sheet (in/out/Mfg/caliber/etc.). I simply copied the header information and made a table up in MS-Word. I was waiting for them to kick my door in before I went to the trouble of actually placing these sheets into a 3-ring binder which some maintain HAS TO BE DONE!
