[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 03A3 stripper clips, source?

Hey all, where can I get 03A3 stripper clips? I went to the show this weekend and only found one guy who had a couple of them and they were pretty worn. I got a couple from him but was hoping to find a better source. Also, there were two styles in the bunch I got. One was a parked finish with the trough style spring steel insert and the keeper fingers at the end. The other had a silver finish with a wave bent spring inside and no fingers at the end. Which style is correct? Thanks.

any .308 or 8mm clips should work for you.

Not quite. The 03A3 stripper clips have different little "bumps" on the outer edges of them. Holds them in the 03A3 stripper clip guide better. Standard 308 or 8mm clips don't have these, and they tend to fall over forward when loading.

If you still need a few let me know. I picked up a case of 30-06 FN mfg. some years ago and the ammo ws packed in bandoliers and on stripper clips. They have worked fine in my Enfield and my O3A3.
