Am I supposed to log all of my firearms that I had BEFORE I had my license? I have ONE C&R eligable rifle that I bought a few years ago. Am I supposed to log it in my book? I still have the receipt from when I bought it. Do I have to log all of my non C&R guns as well? Thanks for being tolerant with a newbie.

You do not need to log "in" any C&R firearms you had before aquiring your C&R license. But as I understand it, if you dispose of one you are supposed to log it "out" to who ever it went to.

That doesn't make sense, so I'm probably wrong. Has happened before

I could understand having to "log it out" if it was never in your books because you're most likely giving the buyer a copy of your license. Thanks again Pthfndr

You have to log all acquisitions and dispositions of C&R firearms while licensed.  Any owned prior to licensing don't have to be logged unless you are disposing of them.  Non-C&R do not have to be logged at all.
