Well since I have had my C&R, I have only bought 2 rifgles, one a Garand and the other a Yugo SKS, I had to sell the garand....long storie.. Anyway, things are starting to look up, just a little bit, so what should I think baout next? I am leaning towards a WWII German mauser of some kind... |

I'd snatch up one of these K31's before they go away. One hell of an accurate military rifle, but ammo is a little expensive unless you reload. For cheap ammo you can't beat the 8mm Mauser right now though and there's plenty of old Mausers out there pretty cheap. |

A K98/Gewehr 98 are must haves for any collector but then again there is no telling how long the K31s will hold out. Logically I would say get the K31 first then some mausers but I can't say logic really affects my gun buying decisions so if I were you I would probably get a mauser now. Remember carbine length mausers (K98s) will cost more than full lentgh (Gewehr98) rifles. |
