Do you really need to buy a bound book for your transactions or can you just print out the one at cruffler.com and put in in a 3 ring binder and be OK. I'm cheap. I'd rather spend money on guns & ammo then bound books.

A 3-ring binder would do just fine. That's how I have mine. I made up some sheets using the green book example as a guide.

I got my Bound book from Brownells $3 and I keep it in a 3 ring binder.

I printed off a page created in Excel I found somewhere and stuck them in a 3-ring binder.
