| I stumbled across one and don't know much about them but it would be a fairly cheap price. It has the rear peep sight and hood on front sight. It is well worn and no serial number. What is the value of one of these gems. |

Gunbroker has them from $150-$450 As you know they were not serial numbered, Win. started making the in 1938 and stopped in 1959, 161,412 is the number (+-) estimated made. Some came with a 2 3/4 and 5 power scope, they are the unicorns of the 72. They take short, long and LR. There was a gallery version which only takes 22 shorts, that one's another unicorn. Great little rifles. |
