I have this here  .22 single shot bolt action and I need some help fixing it. When I go to shoot I have to pull the thing-a-ma-jig back at least twice and pull the trigger twice before a round will fire. Does the bolt come out of this thing and if so, can I stretch or replace the spring to get rid of the light strikes? This thing can hold a surprisingly tight group considering it's age, I hit a bottle at 250m with shitty iron sights... in 7 tries :(

Apparently to get the bolt out you push in on the knob and unscrew the shaft in the center then everything slides apart. I'll give it a shot here tonight.

According to the internet, that is a stevens 15.
I had one in the past, and as I remember, you pull the trigger all the way back to remove the bolt.
Going from memory here, but the extractor is an "L" shaped piece of spring steel wire that passes through a slot in the firing pin.
I would first remove the extractor and firing pin and clean out the bolt slot.
The firing pin is short to prevent accidental discharges.
If it still won't fire after cleaning, Numrich is the place to look for a replacement hammer spring.
