Chiappa Little Badger

i dont know why...i guess i like the looks of it, and i have a fetish for survival .22's.  how can i go wrong for a buck fifty?

itll join my
1.  Marlin Papoose
2.  Ruger 10/22 Takedown
3.  Henry AR-7

itll be nice to take out to the woods to eliminate some bushy tail rats.  i just told my backpacking buddy (my son) about it.  he said he cant wait to shoot dinner with it out on the trail.  it weighs almost 1.5 lbs lighter than the 10/22 TD and when backbacking every pound counts.

i think its a steal

Handled them at the NRA shindig in Houston earlier in the year.

I'm not going out of my way to find/order one but the first one I come across locally will probably go home with me, knowing me.

Please let us know how you like it once you have it in hand.

I had seen photos of that rifle before but I had no idea it was so cheap. I would probably pick one up if I saw it at a store as well.

Now I'm thinking about building a single shot rifle with a 10/22 take off barrel though...

i was going to buy it last night, but they wanted full retail of $170.  then i saw it this morning for $154 and i couldnt resist.  it was so cheap that i even told the wife about it.  first time ive done that in YEARS.  she said "dont you have" and before she said enough guns i said "nope" then i got the eye-roll.

Bummer it does not fold up more

If the barrel had a quick disconnect pin, or it could fold so the barrel is parallel with the receiver again, this would be very nice. Or maybe have the TG rotate out like the M-79 grenade launcher, and the trigger able to snap forward, up and out of position.

And I would have done away with  most of the bottom part of the stock, beefed up the top part, and made the butt plate able to fold down to get a much slimmer profile when folded.

i would agree about the folding part.  nothing will compact smaller than my Papoose.  none the less though, its still a survival .22 and i got a hard-on when i saw it

Interesting.  Definitely gonna pick one up.  Can never have too many suppressor hosts.

ETA:  Add a range report when you get it,  I'm more interested now after watching some vids.
