Hey everyone,
I just picked up a Ruger k10/22 RBD-FS. only problem is I need a scope. I don't want to spend more than $100 on the scope since I'll only use it for target shooting and squirrel/small game hunting
I would like  scope that can reach out to 200 yards easy. Anyone have any reviews?

I have the Weaver classic rimfire 2-7X.  It is a bit above your budget but they can be had for $150-$160 pretty easily and is well worth the extra money over your budget.  It is an excellent optic.

Same thing with optics.  The best scope for your budget will be something that allows between 2-7x magnification for an adjustable scope, or around 10x fixed.  Will these allow you to shoot squirrels at 200 yards?  No.  But a kill on a squirrel at 200 yards with .22LR is a little more than optimistic anyways.

You can get a quality optic for your price range, but it will not be the magnification level that you think you need.  You may find an inexpensive, imported chinese, high magnification scope for your price range, but you'll realize that it is impossible to zero a giant scope that is positioned 3.5" inches above the barrel.  Then you have to battle things like cheek weld and parrallax adjustments, (which never works well on cheap scopes anyways).

Trust me, I've been down this road and made these mistakes myself.  I really WANT to tell you that you can get everything you want for the price you want, but you really can't.  The lesson that I had learned is that you don't need that much scope on a .22LR.  What you want is something that is lightweight, durable, and can mount down low and as close to the barrel as possible.

Try something like this....also use good mounts too.  Don't spend less than $30 on mounts.

Yeah, I have that on my Marlin 60 and it is really a nice scope for the price.

I say either shell out a little more for something like a nikon prostaff at @ $150 or go with a Bushnell Banner for @ $80 or hit up walmart. Walmart has some pretty cheap scopes.

Barska 3-7x20

Centerpoint Illuminated 4-16x40

I do not own either of these scopes from walmart. You get what you pay for.
