| Anyone have one? I'm thinking about picking one up for a toss in the pack bolt action .22, and it would be good to have something around to teach kids with. Is the stock too small to be usable by an adult? Are the sights pretty robust? Does it have a .22 feed ramp, or do you have to put the round in the chamber like with the cricket? What about the trigger pull? |

I got one for my son - the stock is tiny and the rear peep sight it your basic nut tensioner so getting them dialed in can try your patience. The trigger is great and it does have a polymer feed ramp.
The firing pin resets when you rack the bolt and the safety is large and easy to see. I got mine through Bud's for $149 I think - I think its better than the Cricket for the money. The trigger is really sweet, much nicer than I expected Its helped my son's shooting quite a bit... I think it may be too small for an adult though |

It does have the adjustable Savage accu-trigger which I cannot say enough about...my squirrel gun is a Savage bolt action in .17 HMR with the same adjustable accu-trigger, and it's an awesome setup for sure. If you're going with a throw in the bag .22, go for a Henry Survivor or Armalite AR-7. |

im 6 foot and I shoot it just fine though it is very small. I got it for my 6 year old son but im thinking I want one for myself , its a blast to carry and shoot. Same height...don't get me wrong, it's not like you're not gonna be able to hit what you're pointing at, but to me it's not as comfortable nor as logical as one of the other options I suggested for a throw in the bag gun. |
