Closest one that I can heartily recommend is the one my son just recently put on his Marlin 795.
It's a Weaver RV-7, a 2.5x-7X variable. Really seems to be a very nice little scope. Adjustments track solidly and the optical quality is surprisingly nice. He's slaughtering the local squirrels with it. Five for five, head/eyeball shots yesterday. It's around 40 bucks over your 'ideal' budget figure though. |
