I am looking at the Eradicator for shooting competitions where low light capabilities are important. I really like the fine aiming point of the eradicator as well as the ability to illuminate the dot in the deep shade of the woods our competition takes place in. Any other better options that still have illumination and the fine aiming point?

I would spend more money if I could find a scope with the same features with a better reputation. I cannot go too much higher on the price.

Mueller Eradicator

This scope is going on a Anschutz 64. This will not be a 1000 yard gun. Not going to be used in bench rest competitions for big money and hot women. I just need something that will hold zero. This rifle will be shot mostly off hand for competition, but I like to bench rest on a fairly regular basis. That is why I am not looking at anything with a busy reticle. No mildots. No BDC. Just fine cross hairs and or a fine dot.

I do want good clarity. Not $1200 worth, but decent clarity.
