I had my 10/22 cut and threaded. I asked for a target crown. My first outing did not reproduce the results it did when it was factory new with the same ammo. Is this a good target crown?

That looks like a 11 deg target crown and should work good.
One of the problems with cutting a barrel shorter is it can smetimes change the harmonics of the barrel and then the ammo it used to like shoots like hell after the chop job. Try a few other brands of ammo to see if the barrel has changed its taste. |
