I picked up a Springfield M6 Scout 22 hornet/410 today for $185.  I wasn't looking for one, just wanted something to take care of the occasional groundhog, snake or other critters when I am out working on the farm.  I don't know anything about them but I recall that they were going for a good bit more on GB so figured it was a pretty good deal.  Does anyone else here have one?

I have owned two of them'
One in .22 long rifle, one in .22 magnum, both over .410, of course.
Never should have let the guns go.
@ $185, you got an incredible bargain, enjoy!

I got a SS package with a springfield red dot.  Fun to shoot.

I've got one (SS/22LR/410) that stays in my boat.  Lost count of how many cottonmouths it's killed in the last 20+ years.

I picked one up from a coworker for about $250. .22LR and .410. I had to do a few minor repairs, but nothing major. It looks like it's going to be a pain in the ass to put back together. I'm considering doing a camo paint job on it while I have it disassembled.

I saw one at Gander Mountain today for $500.  I would say you got a good deal.  Interested in selling it?

Parkerized .22 L.R. and Stainless Hornet. Both bought new in 96. Very practical and portable and accurate. Current GB asking prices are ridiculous. I see many re listed after they fail to sell.

I bought one in 22 hornet when they were available, for $185. Used it camping a few times.
When they were discontinued, and isaw what they were going for, I put an ad up with a price of $500. Sold it immediately.

You stole that for $185.  Just look on the auction sites for the current prices.

Anyone have an extra M6 scope mount they'd be willing to part with?

Love mine

I had mine Gunkoted a few years ago.  It's a 22 Hornet over .410.

One of these days I'd like to find a base and a small scope for it as well.
