Well one followed me home.

I have done a little research and it is not a Charter Arms nor a Henry.

It came without the factory stock and locking nut. But does have a aftermarket stock not unlike that of a Sten Gun.

It also has a barrel shroud that runs almost the full length of the barrel, to give it the Tactical look. And a crappy BSA scope.

With an 8, 15, and 20*? round mags.

I think I over paid at $200, but it looks like a nice fun toy so time will tell.

I will post photos after I get home...

Armalite?
AR-7 Survival, LLC?

The "banana" mag is 25 rnds, I believe.  The mags are the weak link, as with many semi auto guns.  It may take some tweaking of the mag lips to get reliable feeding, but the good/bad news is the metal is pretty easy to bend.  You also have to use good, high power ammo.  The weak stuff won't kick the recoil springs back.

Best of luck with your new firearm.

Not legal advice, MHo, YMMV, etc.

Sounds like a Feather Lite (something like that) AR.  Had the barrel shourd and tubular stock.  I used to have a Charter Arms AR-7 back in the early 80s that I keep as a truck gun/hiking/canoeing.  Killed a lot of Texas jackrabbits with it back then.
