Does anyone that has changed out a M&P 15-22 forearm have spare factory barrel nut? I need one for a project gun

From the dead bump....I am getting good ideas from this thread and I don't even have mine yet! It is on the way though!
To those using their real suppressors through them, any issues with end cap strikes, baffle strikes etc? I am getting a threaded version but I am still thinking about sending it to ADCO to check the concentricity.... I have a suppressor and want to use it on this rifle as a host... Then again, I think I am going to cut it into an SBR anyways....anyone have info on engraving the poly lower? Any info on extra/alternative handguards is appreciated as well. I would like to tuck it under the handguard. |

Well I know it has to be visible but I was wondering how well the polymer engraves. Nice to know they can do it well since I would have likely went with them, thanks. |

First post. Just picked this one up last week. It was at one of the local shops on consignment. I put some new bits on it right away, and have a couple more things coming. I should be seeing a sling, a red dot, and a riser for my UTG bug buster. I really like this thing, it shoots straight and seems to like anything I run through it. It's a great partner to my 10-22. I'll update when the sling and red dot get mounted.

Welcome to the site! How do you like that Tacticool charging handle? Is the color that far off from Magpul OD green as the photo shows?

Here's another shot to give you an idea. It works great w/ the SWS medium latch.

Now these are some really good looking guns! I had no idea they had them in .22. Hmm.... maybe I'll rethink my plans for a customized 10/22 .... In fact, after seeing these, the only reason I'd stay with the 10/22 as a platform is that I found a company that will take my stock 10/22 barrel, and turn it into a full length suppressed barrel, with no "can" on the end; the end result is instead of the tapered barrel of the stock 10/22 it looks like a bull barrel. (well, that and that the 10/22 comes as a take down (folder) config as well as the normal carbine version. But wow, those are some really awesome guns! Do they come in .22 mag also?

Good choice.
That is a killer combo. Everything stays subsonic and cycles like butter. You will need to cut 2 loops off the bolt catch spring to get it to hold open after the last round. |
