Grabbed one on a local gun forum for $80, looks to be in excellent condition.  Will be picking it up in the next few days.  Are these guns any good? (Should have asked before but I can't resist low cost 22's).  It will most likely live in my trucks tool box.

I've got a Savage 6D and a Stevens 87A, which is like the direct ancestor of your gun.  Neat rifles, very "retro" looking, and a hoot to shoot if they are running properly.  I'd suggest you go here to find info:

I also have a pre war 87A. Have shot it all my life, enjoy your new clickety-clack!
