I bought my 3rd gun today, a marlin model 989 m2.
I took it right to the range, and this thing shoots awesome and accurate. I bought it for under $130 and its already worth it. Im going back next week because there is another gun, a 12g shotgun. I forget the make, but its definitely made in the USA. The shotgun is $69. I should have bought it today, but oh well. |

Thats a cool looking rifle! I've never seen that model, and I follow Marlin pretty close as I post on Marlinowners.com for info on my 39A. Looks M1 carbine-ish.

lo and behold, I just saw one of these at the gun store!
It was $129 also. Very quick handling, carbine sized, rimfire. I liked it. I didn't get to look at it more than a second or two as I had my wife and my mother in the car, as I was just stoppping in to grab a box of 9mm for tomorrow's bowling-pin shoot. |
