I have an old 10/22 I like to take out now and again. My stock 10rd magazine seems to have gotten really weak. It doesn't want to load the last few shells, seems like a weak spring.

Should I buy a new magazine or can I swap out the springs?

needs cleaned. Just disassembled and cleaned mine and it works great. go to rimfire central forums to learn how to do it.

Send it to Ruger, they will give you a new one. In the last couple months I've swapped out one 10/22 mag and one Mini-14 mag.
