I fondled a stainless 10/22 today at the local pawn shop today.  The rifle is in excellent condition and the owner (of the pawn shop) said it had less than 50 rds through it.  It looks like its got a different stock (beefier) and longer barrel than the normal 10/22 though?  Whats a good price for one of these?

Here is a pic of one that looks like it...

Does this model cost more than the normal 10/22?

I don't know what they are selling for now, but I love mine...

I picked up a used one in the same condition. Looked like it had never been shot. Checking the sn it was made in 1997. It is a stock rifle. I paid $175 for it. Yes the stainless is more money than the blued gun. I don't believe it is built stainless/wood anymore. The stainless only comes with synthetic now.

It looks like a standard Wally World special that runs about $238, new, at Walmarts that still sell fireams. (Checkered hardwood, not walnut, stock with a 22" stainless barrel)

It might be worth a little more if its old enough to have the metal trigger group.

I saw the new Walmart version of that for sale at WM last week. It looked just like that except it has that flat silver painted look.

I saw one yesterday at a pawn shop.  Like above, but with the barrel band, beat to hell, stains and scratches on receiver, barrel, stock, dirty filthy.  Guy said that he'd save me some money and sell it for $200 otd.  I went otd without it.  Brand new from wm is $237; s/s, wood, with barrel band.  Course I have to drive 80 miles to a wm that sells guns.
