Have one of the new crappy/cheap aluminum 10/22's.  Mounted the factory rail , put a scope on and maxed out the elevation at 50yds and still need to come up almost 10" more.  Anyone had this problem of the factory scope mount being so far off.  ANy fixes??
THanks

I did with my carbine. I got some brass shim stock and shimmed up the rear base.

Barrel droop, get a adjustable barrel clamp. Rimfire central has several links that should be selling them.

Check the top of the receiver to see if it is bowed.

What brand of scope?
New rings that can be adjusted would help.
