Can anyone tell me offhand, if the stocks are the same between the 917V .17HMR(bull barrel) and the 982VS .22MAG(bull barrel)? I've looked the two of them over, and they "appear" the same, but sometimes appearances aren't what they seem. My 982 has this plastic thing on it, but a few places show the purty laminated ones for the 917V's.
Naturally....I tried to call Marlin today, but they only work till noon on Fridays. Sounds like a good place to work! Thanks! Colin |
