Yeah, it was a fun toy.

Doesn't work so well with an AR-15 though

i have one and it is fun, once you get it set correctly it blasts thru the ammo pretty fast, if used with a bipod  it is really fun.

I wonder if it would fit on my PTR?  Hmmmmm....  For use with the .22 kit of course!

I really like mine.  I use it on a bipod with a laser mounted so I can fire without sighting down the barrel at tin cans etc.  I use it with my 10/22 mostly.  Works fine with the AR as well but you need a lighter trigger for best results.  I'm going to use it on my Spike's .22lr upper as soon as the bugs are worked out.

There is proper cranking speed that comes with practice for best function.  I've used the GAT activator as well.  Someone will always comment that these crank fire devices are crap and don't work.  Don't believe them --they are fun.  Not a tactical weapon.
The squirrels won't run far with 8 - 10 rounds placed in them in 1 second!

They work well and will go through the 25 rds quick and 50 rds are fun too.

A buddy of mine had one back when we were growing up in the 80s that he used on his 10/22.  We would use that to wipe out young gophers when they were bunched up around their burrow.  Off a bipod, it worked out fairly well for that purpose but we found that you could outshoot the gun with the hammer following the bolt down.  The trick here was to turn it at a steady moderate speed and it worked fine.
