I started my new SBR build, just working on the stock right now, everything is cut and rough, now Ill start cleaning it all up, everything will be a black Durocoat when finished, paperwork is at the chiefs

Once I get everything back, Ill have my barrel cut,crowned and threaded to 6 inches.

It started out as a Choate pistol grip. Cut the back off, installed a pignose adapter from Ace which lets you run an AR buttstock. Front was cut off and filled with a chunk of material from the cutoff stock. I probably wont run the foregrip though. Barrel will be 6 inches total when my paperwork gets finalized. I may change to a Magpul CTR stock, the M4 looks a little chunky to me.

What kind of rail did you use for the foregrip and how did you mount it?

I had a chunk of rail from another project laying around. I had to mill a slight angle to the bottom so it would sit flat against the stock. The front screw is tapped into the front block, and the back just has a screw with a a nut inside. I actually made two of these, one is at EBAY right now, my buddy changed his mind about buying it.
