Does anybody have any data about how .22 LR compares out of a 16 inch barrel with a 22 inch barrel?

From what I have heard, the .22lr reaches max velocity at about 12 inches. So my guess is there would be very little to no difference between the two lenghts.

http://www.varmintal.com/velocity.png though this does not show the comparative velocity of the 22 out of two diff bbls, I can tell you that the diff is slower, by about 50 or so fps, depending on the quality of the bbl, and the ammo.
