Uncle Mike's makes a set of swivels, the front one attaching into the barrel band where the screw is, which only serves to loosen the band itself. Crap, in other words. With the factory stock, your best bet is to simply get a set of generic swivel studs for a wooden stock and use those. The sling itself doesn't have to be anything fancy, IMO; a plain nylon sling works just fine. |
Shit...the 22" barrel shoulda tipped me off that it had the sporter stock with studs already installed... Well in that case, a "Super Sling" would fill the bill nicely...well made, easily adjustable, swivels already on it, and not too expensive. You can find them at Wal Mart. |
