| Hate plastic parts. Can anyone shed some light on this. My first 10/22 and this is the first thing I need to change. Big Fingers don't work so well. Any help? |
I've got the Volquartson magazine release, hammer, and sear. The three have really made the 10/22 a much nicer rifle. www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=666996&t=11082005 |
I have several of Rimfire Technologies available at HawkTech Arms. His adjustable sear/hammer combination are very nice also... ![]() ![]()

If you don't want your rifle looking like it is part of a circus act, cheapgunparts.com makes the best one...perfect for thick fingers or wearing glove in winter (plus 150 other parts for 10/22 and rem597's) here is the link.. www.prestostore.com/cgi-bin/[email protected]&ct=65367&pd=267969 http://www.prestoimages.net/graphics03/14486_pd267969full They also have the volquartsen shown above and power customers versions too. |

Modding the factory release is easy as pie. Go to RFC if you need more info. Although I have an extended release in mine, I prefer the factory flush when working with factory mags. Which is what I use mostly now, so thanks for the reminder! I gotta swap back to factory. |

Something I would like to see is one that has a slight curve/bump nub at the tip of the release. Essentially a factory release, with the addition of a 1/4" or 1/8" somewhat gradual bump at the end. Now that I'm thinking about it, I should mod the extended plastic one I have, as an example. |
Bazziiiing....... Kinda like the RTE stuff myself... |
