I have an old model 39A, it actually says on the side Original Golden Model 39A

It is a friends that his Grand Dad gave to him and the firing pin is broke, anyone know where I might find one of these pins?

Thanks

Numrich is good.

So is Brownell's

Or, short of that, you could just send it to Marlin. THeir customer service is great.

For future reference, if you're looking for a normal part for a normal firearm and can't find the part at either Brownell's or Numrich, you're probably SOL . . . Specialized stuff like AR-15 bits and pieces they're a little more selective on. But generally, for normal guns check those places first.

Check with Numrich. Make sure you know the serial number and also, if at all possible, what the firing pin looks like. They have changed the design a bit over the years so you have to make sure you get the correct style. Mine was made in '57 and I was able to get my replacement firing pin from them. Needed a little touch up (it was slightly bent and needed have the nose profiled a little) but it works.

Also I needed a extractor for mine and had to get it from a place called Widner's. They had a selection of parts for the old Marlins as well.

Thnaks to everyone for the info, I did get one from Numrich, it should be here this week, mine was made in 1974 so it was considered a late model, so the one I ordered should fit...
