Today I was cleaning out a closet at my dad's & found a Win Model 67. When asked he said that it was my grandfathers squirrel gun from the 60's. First off it doesn't have serial numbers but does have the company logo & information. So my question how old could it be & what is it safe to shoot? The bolts functional but a little loose in IMHO. I don't know much about these older .22's. Please school me on this thanks. |
i have a win. mod 67 that was my uncles first gun, it was my second.23rd edition blue book lists as $250 for 100% percent, mine is probobly nra grade 0 they made 383,000 from 1934-1963. so shooter value is the defining factor i would say mine would fetch atleast $25.00.if you had the smooth bore it would be worth more.mine shoots awsome with .22 short ,long ,and long rifle. i have shot high velocity rounds with no problems. these rifles were way over built  i know i have put atleast a thousand rounds through mine. plus it is the gun i start any new shooters out on. treasure your 67, it's worth more than money. 2D2C |
| Front sight should be dovetailed and be able to go back and forth. The rifle will shoot .22 Long Rifle great. The bolts on these always seem loose. My first firearm was a mod. 67. I have another that was purchased in 1936 at a Western Auto for $12.00 that I never leave home without. You will be surprised at how accurate it is. |
