Anyone got a Krinker Plinker?
They look pretty cool. I as thinking of getting one for my SBR but wanted to make sure that the gun still runs well with it..
Thanks in advance for any replies.

A good friend of mine has one on his Akins Accelerator, and has put thousands of rounds through it. The only problem he has had with it is the barrel is ringed where the front sight is. Other than that it rocks.

I have to admit that these have been calling my name for a while, too.  The next time I come across a cheap beater 10/22 at a gun show or pawn shop, I think I'll have to pick it up and order one of these...

I bought one when they frist came out, beacuse I thought they look cool. But now I don't  think they are worth the $265-300. The new kits may be better, but mine just seems cheap and thrown together. I say look at the other aftermarket kits out there, such as Rhineland Arms or RB Precisions. From what I can tell they much better made.

I have the later model and it seems to be well-built.  The scale of it is very small, it is not an adult-sized gun.  My two boys love it though.

Does the stock fold on the newer ones?  And can it be fired with the stock folded?

Yes, yes.  The stock needs to be a bit longer and the pistol grip needs to be a bit bigger to position the finger on the trigger better.  Not insurmountable problems.
