I need a new scope for my 10/22 , and i was looking at the BSA Sweet .22 scopes but kinda want to get some input from some people who have one or have shot a .22 with one on it. I need somthing to replace the old scope on my 10/22, it is way to old and i got it used from some guy who took it off his 7mm elk rifle. needless to say its a little overkill for my little .22 Thanks |
| I put a 3x9 BSA deer hunter on my 10/22. SWFA in the idustry section has them for like 35bucks with a set of rings probably cost you around 50 bucks total. It works fine for me. Put about 1000 rounds through the 10/22 so far. That about as much as I wanted to spend for a scope. |
In ideal lighting conditions ( ), it's fine. If it's dark (raining) or really sunny, ect...you'll get glare and muddiness and won't be able to see for crap. The eye relief also bugged me. One slight movement of your head and it goes black. It's not very generous on eye relief. The adjustments worked fine, but if I cant see well out of it, adjustments mean nothing. I took mine back (to cabelas) and bought a Leupold and the differance is like night and day. You get what you pay for. |
