Looking for a good .22 magnum. Have seen CZ and the Rugers, wondering if the Winchester Model 70 is chambered in this caliber? Does anyone have any experience with bolt actions WMRs? Looking for a bench/varminter. Thanks. |

I picked up a marlin wmr model 88. synthetic stainless and scoped it with a norinco 4x. I dont know if this would meet your bench requirment but in a hunting situation it's great...lite and shoots a most impressive group. it's fussy with ammo but it seems the cheep stuff is just that. That said I can tell you I LOVE my CZ .308. and i'll bet the quality carries over to the .22 mag. I wonder if the single set trigger is an option on the .22? on the bench that would be sweet!! |
