Does anyone make metal mags for the Ruger 10/22? If not can you recommend good metal "lipped" mags?

Thanks in advance.

Good but not cheap.  You won't find both in the same mag.  These should last forever.

I purchased one last year and I have close to 700 rounds through it with no problems. I like the fact that I can take the mag apart for cleaning and the parts are replaceable. I also like the fact that it has a nice solid feel to it.  My buddy also purchased one and he's probably shot close to 500 rounds through it with no problems.

Here's mine:

silly rabbit, tricks are 4 kids!

I'm still trying to wear out my plastic hot lips mags...still running like a champ!

best metal lipped mag?  ruger 10rd. rotary mag.

The banana mags are nice, but they get in the way of my arm when I shoot with my bipod off.
I'm surprised no one else mentions that.  I guess it wouldnt matter if you're always using range furniture.

I wish they would produce 50 round versions of the aluminum mags.

75 or 100rnd drums would rock, too.

I whole-heartedly agree, especially because I have a Norrell trigger pack in one of my Ruger 10/22's.

The new SAR has a review of the aluminum mags.  I haven't had a chance to do more than scan it, but it looks like they gave them a good review.

The Tac Inn mags are great and if you empty the mag you can always use it to beat them to death with it as its built like a tank...

*** anxiously awaiting my Tac Inc mag's arrival ***

EDIT:  WOOO it's here!   Looks great, now I just have to take it out and run a few zillion rounds through it for a test.

Have to agree with this, my hot-lips and steel lips are still running fine even after a combined total round count of over 100,000. Dropped one once and it split along the seems, so replaced it, and tried to glue it back together (I never throw anything away!) and it now works as well as any other and I have an extra mag! Total of 7 now.

Yes, again I have to agree, but most comps I use the 10/22 for require or allow higher round counts and 'top-ups'

Always shoot it off-hand, and only bench/bipod it if the kids play with it.

But I would like to have the roll-royce of mags (I sometimes wish I could take the BC mags apart and clean them).

ETA - updated mag count! Found another, don't even know what I have
