I'm in the market for a nice aperture sight for my 10/22, preferably under $50. Do good aperture sights exist in that price range? The only ones I know of are from www.tech-sights.com//. I got my rifle for christmas a couple years ago, but I haven't been shooting more than a few times. At boot camp I discovered how much easier aperture sights are for me to use, and now I want some to A. Hold me over until I can get an AR-15 and B. Hold me over when I'm too broke to buy ammo for it. Any suggestions?

one is called the zypher site system that cabelas sells.  Mine is from cs metal werkes (sp?) that make the krinker plinker.  These arent quite as nice as the one you listed and they will still run you around $40 before shipping if i remember right.

I just went and ordered one of the 10/22 aperture sites from Tech-sights based on the link I saw here.  It looks really good in the pics, I've wanted something like this for years.

I'll post impressions and photos  when it gets here.

Cool, glad to help. If they're really worth it, I'll probably end up getting them, despite my cheapness.

HAs anyone tried this one?  It kind of looks like I'd like it but I've never heard of the company.  My 10/22 is bone stock right now.
