I know these are newish and was wondering if anyone has some time spent in one. I have the old banshee andbits fine but I want something with more padding/breathe ability et cetera.
I've heard the PIG can be hot. The Jpc 2.0.......eh. I dunno. I want something comfortable. |

Padding can equal comfort, but padding is made of foam and foam is insulation. IMO the coolest carrier is not the most padded. You would want minimal padding and a well ventilated cummerbund if you wanted the coolest carrier.
The Banshee Elite 2.0 isn't appreciably different from the 1.0 other than the extra pockets. As far as padding that can space the plates off you, you could buy pontoons and shoulder pads and achive the same effect on your current carrier, for less money. |
| I have the PIG, brought it to the desert with me. Yeah, it's a bit hot, not going to lie. It's also very comfortable. I also own an AVS, and it's leaps and bounds ahead of anything else I've ever worn in terms of comfort (and coolness), especially if you've splurged and gotten the harness and pad set. |

Isn't the AVS big bucks? |

I'm 6'0 170 and my Banshee fits as it should. Covers from my sternum to bottom of ribcage. Wear a IIIA vest under it which gives me good side and back coverage down to about my tailbone.
