Howdy. I have an ILBE pack that I removed the aluminium frame "bars" for cleaning and for the life of me I cannot remember which way they go in. Anyone have an online tutorial on re assembly of the pack? Thanks

On the bottom rear of the pack there's a pad that would contact the small of your back when worn.

Flip that down. Behind everything are two channels that run vertically along the pack, closed by two lengths of 1" webbing.
This is where the two aluminum stays belong.
Wrap the 1" webbing around the bottoms of the two stays. These will be placed into the corresponding slots in the waist belt.

Easier to see when the packs sitting in front of you

Typically, the bars curve toward your lower back. However, you can (and should) re-bend them to the shape of your back.

Copy. Is it easier to do that with them in the pack? Or should they be measured on the person and then bent outiside of the pack?

This pack is a lot like yours, and the Fitting Instructions should be very similar.
