| I recently just purchased some multicurve ceramic plates. They are no-name plates. The plan is to use them for training situations. They currently do not have any Spaulding material protecting them. Any websites or companies that sell the Spaulding cover? |

Ar500 uses line-X coating. Same stuff for truck beds. It's supposed to help with drops and bangs against walls and such. Works great for their level IV ceramic plates This is the exact reason for the "Spalling" cover. Just to protect from chips and such. Sounds like rubberized bedliner is the way to go |

the coating they use is to protect the plate from cracking if dropped not fragmentation from rounds Fully understandable. I bought these plates for training purposes. Not worried about fragmentation or even being shot at for that matter. Just a protective measure in the event they are dropped or slammed against a concrete wall. |

ceramic plates don't need a spall liner. bullet fragments are pretty much all contained in the plate and the outer cover keeps most of the ceramic pieces in too |
