I'm looking for a ballistic helmet for the zombie apocalypse / bump in the night / 'cuz frakking I want one.
Would you recommend an ACH or LWH? |
| I think the LWH protection is only higher BECAUSE it has 10% more coverage. It has the better retention straps of the two, although USMC style suspension is offered for the ACH/MICH. If I was at greater risk for shrapnel, I'd want to be wearing a LWH. ACH for everything else. Even MARSOC issues the ACH, which should tell you something. Used ACH + upgraded suspension = helmet profit. Just add ComTac/Sordin/Liberator. |
