Would running a SAPI-M and a shooters cut plate in the front be an issue?
Would the carrier be off balance to the point of being uncomfortable?

wouldnt think so.
I have a shooters cut Lvl 4 in front and a square one in back.

works for me.

Sounds smart to me.
Once you start adding ammo to the front and water to the back, it'll start to balance wonky anyway.

Not an issue, plenty of shooters do that very thing.
