How many guys are running these?  How are they for running a medium loadout?    I am thinking about getting one for running pistol gear alone on.

I am talking about the ones like Tyr, Volund, and such make.

Let's see some pics!

I have one of These from
Robert at US Grunt Gear,
as well as, 2 of his full
width belts.

Great comfort, well built, great
customer service & made in the
USA by a retired Marine.

His gear is well worth the wait.

Raf, like a molle belt, but a bit smaller.  There were a few in the warbelt/firstline thread, but sporadic, and pretty old.  Hope this helps you to help me.

Here is mine.  Volund Gearworks Micro Battle belt.

Available here.  Very well made and works as intended.  Velcro hook on back side to lock with a loop inner belt.  He also makes them slick.  The molle loops on the outside lock pouches and things in place vs a typical duty belt.

That looks like a nice setup.  I have a g-hook belt and really like it, Matt makes some nice gear.  Looks like will be next on my list.

You have my attention. I'm looking to ditch my HSGI setup for something less bulky....

I like my SOE belt. I never carry anything on it but a holster, two pistol mags and a rifle mag.

I use one from Razor Six...works well....very well made.

It took a while for delivery and shipment but it was worth it and it is a two belt system.

Ohhh...that's a nice setup!

Any issues with that RTI wheel/holster sitting up too high on the battle belt?  Would running it lower cause any issues in your opinion?

Wait- you mean you DON'T need a huge padded 360* Molle belt with suspenders to run a holster and 2 pistol mags?

Uhhh, sure, I guess.  A "duty belt" with Molle on it, would be more accurate probably.  Seems a bit different, but I guess to each his own.

I wanted one to run 4 mags, a holster, small IFAK, small dump, and knife on.

It is a 2" belt as shown.  Their ATLAS line is available in 1.5 or 1.75 but without the molle.

It doesn't sit up too high in my opinion.  I do have a Gcode offset drop adapter with a wheel that can also be used if you want the holster lower.  I really like the modularity of the GCode RTI mounting system.  I can easily move the holster from APC to traditional battle belts to offset duty drop to belt slide as it fits various setups.

Looks like one has Pals on the inside?  The Volund has them on the outisde of the belt like a warbelt.

This would count as a "micro" war belt:

Just in my head, a duty belt would be your traditional 2" leather/nylon 1/4" police belt, but that's just me.

I just took a duty belt, spray painted it, and stitched velcro to both sides of the molle webbing on pouches so that the velcro between the inner/outer belt holds the pouches in place.

Ghetto, but it works.

So the micro warbelt is something in between a duty belt and warbelt.

ETA: I use the emdom belt that I linked to, with belt keepers.
