| I have A plate carrier/Tac. Vest for front & back plates. There is only (1) cut like plate, piece of Green (Compressed foam)? Shouldn't there be (2)?? And what are they called, I take it they are only for shock absorbing? Also if I need two where can I purchase? Please advise... |
| Thanks Chris, I don't know.. bought 2 at a sale gave 1 to a friend had only 1 insert also lots of Molle no markings that I can find, 10 'X12" plates fit great velcro'd on bottom tan in color has mag pouches on front. Had 1 of these, look like very compressed foam insert cut just like plate green, friends had 1 also, different style vest... |

The foam is probably just a shape holder or possibly something added for comfort. Cut up a work out pad or any other closed cell foam to make a replacement if you need it. If you get In-Conjunction With plates, you'll replace the foam with a ballistic soft armor backer of some sort. If you get stand alone plates then leaving the foam in may help as far as comfort and a little bit of trauma too. CHRIS |
