[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Custom Mag pouches

I seem to be running a lot of my 40 round Pmags lately. I would love to get some taller bungee top mag pouches for them, but don't really know of any mfg.s that make them. Any ideas? Or any ideas who might make them to order?

Off hand I can't think of 40 round AR pouches however AK mag pouches would probably work. I know US Palm and Strike hard gear make pouches for ak mags that should work for 40 round pmags.

Thanks TestGuy, I will check those out. I am trying to make a chest rig (maybe a mini mav), for bigger mags, like the 40's.

Is Strike hard a quality operation? As far their gear/durability?

HSGI makes a pouch (HSGI HCM TACO) that may work for your needs. I bought a few from SKDTAC awhile back. They appear to be purpose-built for Surefire 60', but I find they work just fine with 40 rnd P-Mags as well.

No first hand experience with strike hard gear, however i've heard great things about them and they appear to be of quality. Again, I have not used them personally so take it for what it's worth.

I called and spoke with Todd today, with Strike Hard. He seemed to be a really friendly guy, and was very helpful. I am going to be trying out a couple of his pouches for sure.
