Well, about 7 or 8 months ago, I bought a Voodoo drag bag. I haven't really even used the thing. It's spent most it's time in my closet. All I have in it is an AR, and just a few odds and ends. I'm not dragging it, and I am not loading it up.
Fast forward to last night, I now see it is coming unsewn in a couple of spots, where there are handles. Figure, "not a problem, I'll call them". Well the number on the web, is not them...it's a guy the sells it, and he was like "nope, I don't replace stuff". Gave me a number, and I called them, and she was like "nope, don't replace stuff". So I have called a 3rd number, and left a message. We will see how this goes. Before some of the operators come in and tell me how I bought tier 7 gear, and I should know this, I own Eagle cases as well. I didn't think this was going to be an incredibly badass case, and take me through to the end of the world. However, I did half assed expect a $160 case to hold up a little better though. I will keep this updated, and let you guys know how this goes. |

$160? Holy crap! I never even spent that on my eagle cases, then again they're cases and not the drag bag things. Natchez was having outstanding sales on them a couple years ago.
Seriously, they're advertised in the fresh from china surplus network fliers. I would have expected exactly what you got. I would buy some of that thread lock goo and paint the rest of the stitching to hold it. |

Yeah sorry but Voodoo tactical is s**t gear, its good for people buying their first tactical gear on a super tight budget or weekend air soft player who want to look cool but dont really need functional gear.
Also, i have first had experience with them, when i first got started all my gear was voodoo tactical, i have since donated it all to family and friends and now own real gear. |

I bought one years ago when they were on a huge sale. Used it a handful of times for the range or to go hunting and each time something else broke/came off.
Sat in the garage until I gave it away to someone for free that needed something like that. It's made in china shit and I can't believe the price they are asking for these ($180 on amazon!) as its crazy given that you can find an Eagle on sale or just get a Tac Ops for around $300. I wouldn't pay $50 for a voodoo bag. Holy shit. |

If you can't get it replaced/exchanged (and what if the "new" one is just as crappy?), then consider taking it to a cobbler for re-sewing of the bad spots. If you do it locally, and he uses black nylon thread already on hand, you probably won't have to spend much, and still get some use out of the thing.
The problem with this stuff is that it often looks good, but the quality of the materials and workmanship is not readily ascertainable, simply by eye, by most people, even some knowledgeable types. |

Voodoo is a mixed bag. A friend had 2 bags fall apart in less than a year. I have a Voodoo Praetorian pack and while it is heavy and not the most comfortable pack, I have beat the shit out of it for a few years and it still looks like new. It has been dragged through the woods, snagged on trees and bushes, buried in snow, dragged through the sand at 100+ degrees, left in the car repeatedly when it was 105 degrees and -35, submerged in water and dragged across pavement. Not a single broken stitch or anything other than minor surface scuffing that buffed out easily.
Another Voodoo bag I looked at in the store looked like it was sewn by a drunken 3 year old and was coming unstitched still wrapped in the factory bag. |

I guess I'll just see if I can get a saddle guy to sew it up. But I'll do my very best to pound Voodoo's asses so hard, they'll wish they gave me 10 free cases. Info....get some. |
