I just recently picked up an Eagle SPC. I didn't really know the size, but it was a deal. Turned out its a small, at least as far as i can tell. It has plate pouches inside that measure ~8.5" across, can't get a good estimate on the height. The carrier itself has a shade over 10" opening on the bottom. I was wondering if anyone has experience running a larger plate in this size carrier. I assume it was made for small sapi, so 8x10 plates would fit just fine, i would just like to have the extra protection of 10x12 if they would fit. If anyone has any experience with this i would really appreciate the input.
Thanks

My suggestion would be to find a local armor dealer than you can go slide the plates in and out just to test. Small plates in a larger PC flop around, and suck, plus obviously larger plates for the PC  won't fit.

Most plate carriers are designed for the same size plate so a small carrier would take a small plate. With that being said most can handle a size larger or smaller.

Thanks for the input, i just wasn't sure if one of the highcomm 10x12 shooters would fit tight without it flopping around. Id like to try a few out in it, but i honestly don't think there are any dealers around here.
