I think Tyr stuff is g2g, but I don't have any experience or hear of many topics here about them. Any experience?

There about to get $100 of my money.

I almost always look at TYR first when I need a piece of kit. Good stuff and great customer service if you are ordering from overseas.

Great gear but overpriced in my opinion. I wanted a Tyr belt but didnt want to pay that price. TacT made the exact same thing for a fraction of what Tyr asked.

He said he thinks but he came here to ask for other opinions. I imagine he came to his conclusion based on looking at Tyr's site or other places online. The same as anybody else.

Only company I've encountered besides Crye that has a 45-60 day lead time on most of their products. I'd like to contribute my opinions on the gear but I haven't even received it yet!

It seems like I have seen a thread a long time ago that spoke favorably of their gear. I can't really remember the details though. I am interested specifically in Tyr for 2 reasons 1) because I think their radio pouch will work well for my radio and 2) I have a Desert Tech SRS, but no mag pouches. I think their AI 300WM pouch will work well. While I'm paying for shipping I think I'll pick up a few double M4 pouches. Another reason is most of my gear is in Ranger Green and I try to match it. Tyr has a good selection of Ranger Green.

I really don't have an opinion. I wanted to make sure they weren't a Condor competitor or something.

I've got a bunch of their stuff and it's all quality. I really like their options in med pouches. I just got a Lightweight Armor Carrier from them and whole I haven't used it yet, I'd say it's equal to or better than most anything out there(CIRAS, PIG, etc.).

TYR is excellent and the owner has been in the tactical nylon business before he started TYR so he has design and manufacturing experience under his belt.

I bought the Motorola XTS Radio Pouch (TYR-CM025) for my Yaesu FT-270 and it works great.

I been using the Brokos belt they did with VTAC and I like it, and haven't had any problems with it not holding up.

They make great stuff. I've actually been putting off ordering a bunch of crap from them. Not because it isnt good, but rather because I know I'll ended up spending way too much.
