not so current, but i found this while box diving at my local surplus store. walked out with it for $25. along with a colt 30rder, sanchez pre ban, smoking jacket, new set of trauma shears, new sam splint (which i found out in the car had 5 atropine injectors wrapped inside), a set of hunters specialties camo creme paint (my favorite), a metal tube of the old camo paint (i think they are so neat!), 4 MREs, and a new set of KAC rail panels, for a whopping total of $65. also seen but not purchased was a full case of unopened C-rats. might go back for those.

They found him in the shitter, he only got two out of like 10-15 in before turning into a drooling mess. Doc's fixed him up and he got shipped back. Still remember watching an NBC demo where they punched one through cardboard to show how much pressure they put out.  Wonder if the splint was from a doc, or some druggie thinking they could bring them back and sling them? |

Wonder if the splint was from a doc, or some druggie thinking they could bring them back and sling them? doc, the inventory card had them listed on there with the exp dates. eta: maybe not a doc, just some dude who took the kit and sold it to the shop. its was just the tri fold kit, but it had everything listed on the inventory, no more, no less, and every doc i know puts extra shit in theirs. |
