I am about ready to pull the trigger on an Eberlestock pack...I was thinking the Terminator would work for me at 4100 cubic inches (after measuring everything I plan on putting in it). As a sanity check I put all my gear in my wife's GoLite pack (rated at 3965 cubic inches). There is no way it was all going to fit. I measured the pack and its dims are about 21Hx12Wx7D (1764 cubic inches)
The Terminator's dimensions on their website are 23x12x10 (2760 cubic inches) Assuming I know how to do math correctly, how are they getting these volumes on these packs? There is no way these packs are as big as advertised if their measurements are correct. |
