Does anyone else with the First Spear Tubes equipment have experience with the tubes squeaking a little bit?  I'm hearing the Tubes connections squeak a little when I'm moving around, but mostly when I'm breathing (I do run my carrier pretty tight), and it's slightly annoying, and I'm not sure what to do about it.  I suppose I could use a little Slip2000 on it, but could that pose problems?  I can probably live with the squeaking, but if there's anything I can do to prevent it, I'm all ears.

No experience here but assuming the tubes are plastic I think I'd try rubbing a little bar soap on them. That often shuts up odd squeaks on things and I can't imagine it hurting anything..

I don't think the slip2k would cause problems.

When did you get it? I heard there was a recall on earlier tubes, maybe that was a problem associated with the previous plastic composition.

Just got it a couple days ago.

I'll try the soap, and maybe the slip, or a dry film lube.

You could try something like dry graphite lubricant, like they package with drum magazines or whatever. A polymer-safe gun lube might work, but I would imagine only a VERY small amount and you would probably want to pick one that has some "staying power" and doesn't just runoff immediately. I'm not really familiar with the tubes system, but if you can take them apart maybe try rubbing down all the exposed surfaces with a silicone gun cloth?
