I need like 4 of them. I don't think I could stretch the budget for a surefire G2's. I may be able to swing some Streamlight ProTac 2L for $42... I've got a protac 2aa and that's pretty long, two of them need to fit in pistol mag pouches so short and fat is probably better than the long and skinny 2aa.

I'm thinking $30 is a more realistic budget. Prefer AA but AAA or cr123 would be ok too.

Coleman MAX LED. Contains a CREE LED. I believe they are 125 Lumens.

Can be had for $24.99 at Walmart. I have 4 of them for use around the house and in vehicles. They have been dropped, smashed, abused, you name it, and they all still function flawlessly.

Hell, my 4 kids haven't been able to break one and they break everything. Great little light for a great price.

Fenix E11 is around $30, but probably too small for your needs.

Lighthound has some solar force lights that are surefire replicas. I have 2 and they work great. You buy the body and the led separate, but I came in right at $60 for both of mine.

What are you trying to get out of the light? High output? Long battery life?

I know you guys will probably flame me but here it goes.

For a year or so I got pretty into LED flashlights, had quite a few various flashlights, some costing me up to $75. Then I got a sipik SK-68 and various SK-68 clones. These flashlights are $7 shipped each (or less). I sold all of my other flashlights and haven't looked back. I have about ten SK-68's now. I just love them, they do everything. They are really bright, an honest 200+ lumens. They run on 1XAA or 1X14500 rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. This is great because they are even brighter on 14500's, or in an emergency situation or power outage, they run great on 1xAA and are still plenty bright. They also tailstand so they do well lighting a room during a power outage, or just general tasks where you need a little more light. They are flood-to-zoom lights, so the beam can be really floody or throw a long distance, or anything in between. Did I mention they are $7 shipped? If I lose it, I don't care I have more kicking around. If it breaks (I haven't had any issues with any of mine), I don't care, I have more.

These have quite a cult following on some flashlight forums that I frequent.

There are many different factories in China making these. The best ones I have found are from ebay seller Tomtop. They are shipping them from the USA now.

Only problem is run time on 1xAA is 45 mninutes

I know, I'm crazy, I don't know anything about quality LED flashlights, these are cheap shit, etc. etc. Say what you will, its ok. I still love these little flashlights.

Yes sir, I have two in black and they fit in pistol mag pouches but it's a tight squeeze.

*edit* oh and I have a few of those that PCBliss linked to, they're pretty sweet, the zoom is I little weird but they're solid.
